The Iron Bridge, Shropshire (00 Scale)
Crossing the River Severn in Shropshire, and opened in 1781, the Iron Bridge was the first major bridge in the world made from cast iron. Today it is seen as a symbol of the Industrial Revolution.
Whilst this replica has a uniformity across parts, the original bridge was constructed used cast parts made to fit specifically to each location. An ‘identical’ part can be found with variances of several centimetres across the bridge.
Presented on four sheets of plywood in 00 Scale.
